What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Data Management, you will:
- Design & lead: Lay the foundation for a robust metadata management framework that acts as the base for data-driven decisions.
- Implement & innovate: Not just use, but shape how technologies like Informatica, Collibra, or Solidatus are utilized for optimal metadata management.
- Guide data lineage: With your expertise, steer clear and precise data flows, ensuring that the organization always has a handle on its data assets.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work side-by-side with internal teams, becoming their go-to for understanding, utilizing, and gaining value from the data catalogue.
What experience you’ll need to apply:
- Metadata expertise: Demonstrated prowess in setting up technologies, crafting metadata models, and understanding data lineage.
- Stakeholder management: Proven ability to work with and influence a range of stakeholders.
- Industry background: Ideally experience in finance or similar regulated industry.
- Data Management Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Informatica. Familiarity with Collibra or Solidatus is a plus.
- Drive & Independence: The ability to lead initiatives, implement frameworks, and drive them to fruition.
