Land Acquisition Manager – Illinois

My client is a leading developer of Solar projects in the US and they are looking for a Land Acquisition Specialist to join their Site Acquisition team. My client has a long track record of developing several gigawatts of solar and battery storage projects throughout the United States. The role will be based in Illinois.

What you’ll be doing?

• Engage and network with landowners throughout the state of Illinois.
• Lead negotiations and contract agreements with landowners for solar and bess projects.
• Liaise with site acquisition teams internally to run site analyses, concept designs and landowner agreements.
• Obtain required documentation for landowner agreements.

What experience you’ll need to apply?

• 3 years experience in site acquisition for solar projects in Illinois.
• Experience with negotiating option and lease agreements for landowners.
• Local knowledge of permitting and solar development for the state of Illinois.
• Self motivated, excellent communication skills and fantastic time management.
• Entreprenuerial mindset.
