ADLIB Life – The one about Zoe

Zoe shares her take…

When I was a kid I wanted to become…
When I was younger, I wanted to be a Scuba Diver – there is nothing better than being under water in a hot sunny country (still pretty true)! From a young age I was part of a Scuba Diving club which made that dream a reality, even though diving off Swanage Pier wasn’t quite the Australian dream but that was where my love for the ocean and underwater world really began!  

For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:
The past two years working at ADLIB have been a great. The company culture, the people and office vibes are like no other company I have worked for. It is so lovely to have some many colleagues that are like minded and always look out for you. We have a lot of socials, so everyone always feels included and part of the company whether you come into the office every day or work fully remote. 

My biggest feel-good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:
There have been so many feel-good moments since starting! I would say the most stand out point was when I was promoted to Senior Consultant in April 2021. It felt great to be rewarded for all my hard work and am excited to see what the future holds! 

How I explain what I do at a party:
I normally explain that I work in Scientific Recruitment working with life sciences, biotech and pharmaceutical start-ups and scale ups across the UK. 

Beyond recruitment at ADLIB, I care about…
My friends, family, and my goldfish Eric! Other than this I love being active, whether it’s at the gym, playing tennis or walking around Bristol! I also love trying all the amazing food spots in Bristol and going to random events across the city!
