ADLIB’s 2023 B Corp Recertification score is 130.3

Let’s begin with a massive thank you to team ADLIB 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻  

An outstanding achievement and something we should all be very proud of. 

Back in 2019, ADLIB was one of the first recruitment businesses to certify as a B Corp with a score of 82.8. Our belief is that B Corp UK provides a structure and measurement to improve, certification is the start of the journey. We set out our intentions publicly through annual impact reports and set the bar high. This approach ensured we maintained the focus and accountability needed to make change happen.

All eyes are on Best Of The World 2023, by our reckoning we’re up there for workers and governance scores, time will tell if we’ll cut it. There are some incredible businesses certifying that we’d feel privileged to rub shoulders with.

In our previous impact report, we set out for an ambitious recertification score, and we’ve fallen short of our target. The final “missing” points came from IBMs, specifically relating to MotherBoard.

MotherBoard is a Business Charter, Community and Event Series driving tangible change for mums working in the tech industry. It is on a mission to transform the industry to be more inclusive of mothers by tackling stigmas and supporting employers who want to create real change.

Initially frustrating, fair reasoning soon set in and opportunity appeared. We needed to understand the knockback to focus the mind and advance MotherBoard’s service proposition and impact model. With a clear view already of its advancement, the end outcome is nothing short of positive. 

Achieving a high B Corp certification score isn’t easy and rightly so. 

Today we celebrate all we have achieved in the last 3 years, a huge accomplishment and a full team effort 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.
