GTSW Event: Tech solutions for sustainably powered and efficient homes

Join Green Tech South West for their first hybrid event of year with talks from two local companies creating great solutions to help us make our homes more sustainable – Susy.House and CEPRO.

How you choose to join in is up to you! Join us either:

  • In person at the Scott Logic offices by Bristol Bridge for pizza, drinks and mingling. Arrive from 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
  • Or attend online and enjoy a welcoming and authentic GTSW experience using CrowdCast. Join online from 6.20pm for a 6.30pm start.

Both sessions close at 8pm. We head to a nearby pub afterwards.

SuSy.house – Making sustainable homes achievable for all

SuSy.house provides solutions for individuals and organisations looking to make homes more energy efficient. They cater to three main markets:

  1. Homeowners – the Susy House app, a free one-stop shop for supports those looking to increase the energy efficiency of their home.
  2. Retrofit installers – connecting homeowners with suppliers using the SuSy Business tool.
  3. Local authorities and housing associations – using SuSy Insights to identify properties fit for upgrades using data analysis and insights tool.​

This talk will provide an overview of the company since its inception (one our first GTSW speakers in 2020!) to today, and live demos of our solutions.

Introduction to Microgrids – Net Zero energy communities

  • Customer benefits of living in a community microgrid.
