Expertise in DBT, Snowflake, and AWS
Data Engineer contractor required to manage technical developments of data stack (DBT, Snowflake, AWS Kinesis, Airbyte).
What you’ll be doing
You will take ownership of 2 data platforms, ensuring optimal functionality and user-friendly design. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and refining platform capabilities to boost self-service access for both consumers and producers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support tribe-based projects, Compliance, and InfoSec initiatives.
- Guiding Analytics Engineers and Analysts in refining data models and queries to optimize costs and performance.
- Enhancing operational governance, incident response, and system vulnerabilities management.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Proven experience in managing production data platforms within data-intensive start-up or scale-up environments.
- Proficiency in Snowflake and DBT.
- Proficiency in AWS services, including S3, Kinesis etc.
- Solid skills in SQL, Python, Terraform, and Docker.
- Familiarity with Looker is highly advantageous.
