Overview
Are you a data engineer with a passion for building robust pipelines and scalable infrastructure? We’re working with a dynamic community donation platform making real social impact by connecting businesses with local causes.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll join a small, collaborative team at an exciting time, bringing fresh perspectives and expertise to their maturing data ecosystem. With a focus on pipelines and infrastructure, you’ll enable impactful insights and pave the way for innovative data solutions.

This role leans heavily on DevOps and infrastructure, supporting a broader team of data scientists and analysts. With exciting goals like exploring data-as-a-service and incorporating generative AI, you’ll play a pivotal role in the next phase of their growth.

You’ll be involved in building and optimizing pipelines including maintain and developing ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks. You’ll get involved in infrastructure management utilising Terraform and Azure DevOps to support infrastructure and deployment. There’s also opportunities for learning and growth, as well as working alongside a great team and reporting to the Lead while helping shape the future of their data platform.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Excellent experience with Azure, Databricks, Python, SQL, and Terraform
  • Understanding of DevOps and ability to communicate with Technology Teams
  • Experience building performant data pipelines and deploying cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles, data security, and governance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Bonus for familiarity with ML Ops, Docker, or Kubernetes
  • Bonus for a STEM degree
