eCommerce Trading Executive (FTC)

I’m very excited to be supporting a long standing Client of ours, a leading consumer brand with offices in central Bath. This vacancy would be a strong match for someone who already gained some experience as an eCommerce Executive, Online Trading Executive or a Merchandiser. This role is a 12 months maternity cover.

What you’ll be doing

The successful candidate will report into the Head of Trading and they will work alongside another eCom Trading Exec. As a part of this role they will also work closely with Marketing, Digital Product, Content, Creative and Merchandising teams. The purpose of this role is to support the Head of with planning and setup of commercial activity, creating stock lists and special offers in line with trading plans. The postholder will manage product categorisation, navigation and search functionality. They will work together with a marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns and new product launches. Another part of the role will be scheduling content and campaign activity and assuring that all landing pages are effectively merchandised. This role will be analytical where the successful candidate will regularly analyse website and eCommerce performance.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Previous experience working in a similar role for an eCommerce business.
  • Natural analytical mindset. Proven track record of measuring Conversion rate, Add to Cart Rate, Bounce and Exec rate.
  • Strong understanding of product categorisation, navigation and search.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
