This market leading SME EdTech business have a customer facing product with a growing user base of over 500,000. They have been using a 3rd party AI Consultancy to build them an LLM based model that interacts with users on their app. They’re looking to bring this in house and you’ll be their first permanent AI / ML hire.  

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside their in house software engineering team, you’ll be taking over from their consultancy partner, to own all things AI & ML within the business. You’ll have the consultancy on hand for an initial handover, and then ongoing as extra resource. Over time you’ll grow a small ML team to support the upcoming projects.

On top of a text based LLM model that is customer facing, you’ll work from ideation & research through to deployment on recommender systems and an upcoming speech to text & text to speech project. The business is massively bought into ML & AI driven solutions and will want you to stay on top of STOTA models.

This is a remote first company, so the role will be remote working forever!

What experience you’ll need to apply:

• Solid experience leading ML projects from research/ideation through to deployment
• Strong background in LLMs & NLP
• Experience working with the Azure ecosystem
• Strong Python development skills
• Ability to take research and apply commercially
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player who can work independently when necessary
