PHP Developer

PHP Developer needed to join a small team within a growing online travel specialist whose use of technology continues to lead the industry and break new ground.  This role will sit within a highly collaborative company with energy and ambition you’ll be able to manage your work with freedom and support and contribute ideas to help the business succeed.
 
What skills you’ll be needing

• Experience using PHP with Laravel framework.
• MySQL.
• CMS experience.
• jQuery/JavaScript.
• HTML5 Advanced CSS.
• Rest APIs.

Experience in the following would be great but not essential:

• React.
• AWS.
• Working with payment gateways/ecommerce.

• Mobile App development would be very beneficial.
• Design skills would be beneficial.
• Basic Linux skills beneficial / or server setup (AWS).
• Experience with payment gateways/ecommerce.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be part of the rebuild of solutions within a Laravel framework including the company CRM, client portal and supplier portal.  You’ll work closely with team leaders to ensure that the business is at the forefront of tech development and that their products are growing well. Day-to-day you’ll be implementing new platforms features and improving productivity across their platforms (PHP, MySQL, Laravel, JavaScript). You will be developing new and exciting web launches troubleshoot and maintain existing sites and test and roll out improvements. The ideal candidate would be able to work both independently and within the development team to research and implement new technology solutions as well as suggest appropriate improvements to current workflow and be involved with testing and rolling out live releases.
