As part of a large scale global data transformation programme you’ll join a global team within data engineering & development supporting BAU, legacy, decommissioning and transformation work.
What you’ll be doing
Working with internal customers, you’ll analyse business needs and translate these into solution options within the SAS space. You’ll be working with a global team with both onshore and offshore resource to support your work.
You’ll work across SAS EBI (DI Studio & Enterprise Guide) and SAS V9 (Base & Macro). You’ll also get exposure to Azure Cloud, Oracle & Postgres SQL data warehouses.
As the role moves more towards decommissioning, you’ll have the opportunity to re-train and get skilled up in modern cloud based data solutions.
The business has been through various acquisitions over the past few years, so there is a lot of work to be done to get this harmonised across the board.

As one of the more senior members of the team, you’ll be tasked with managing and mentoring junior members while they work alongside you in doing the above. You’ll be coming in as a guide with experience assisting and supporting someone else’s’ growth, alongside managing your own.
