I’m delighted to be exclusively representing a great Client of ours, a sustainable travel brand with recruitment of their brand new Social Media Executive. This vacancy would be a strong match for someone who already gained some experience as a Social Media Specialist, Social Media Coordinator, Social Media Officer or a Digital Marketing Executive but would like to move their career into a social media orientated role.

What you’ll be doing

The successful candidate will initially report into the Director and will work as a part of a small marketing team. The purpose of this role is to manage the social media channels on a daily basis specifically Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. The postholder will plan, schedule, create and distribute engaging content across all platforms. Another part of the role will be looking at community engagement strategy. Despite of this role mainly being focused on social media management, the successful candidate will also be supporting with email marketing and website copywriting.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of managing Instagram and Facebook accounts.
  • Outstanding storytelling skills.
  • Experience with video editing tools is highly beneficial.
  • Passion for travel and sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.

What you’ll get in return for your experience

A salary of £28k + benefits. This role offers a hybrid working model with a minimum of two days working in the office. This role can also be offered on a part time basis.
