In your opinion, what is “what working at ADLIB” all about?
Working at ADLIB has been a breath of fresh air, standing out amidst the multitude of recruitment agencies I and others have encountered. At ADLIB, we’re not just another agency; we’re a community of sincere, dependable, and genuine individuals who are deeply passionate about recruitment and driven by a sense of purpose. Our approach transcends the conventional norms of the industry, as reflected in the meaningful connections we forge and the conscientious businesses we choose to collaborate with.
What does being a part of a B Corp mean to you?
It means adhering to higher standards of ethical business practices, sustainability, and social responsibility. For us here at ADLIB, it signifies our commitment to balancing profit with purpose and really caring about the work we do with likeminded businesses. We are very mindful about our approach to recruitment and are fully committed to creating positive impacts beyond just financial gain.
Is there a cause or issue that you are passionate about, and if so, why?
I am very passionate about the education sector, and the gap that exists between finishing education and finding a role in the area you want to work in. I believe that there should be better careers advice available within schools/universities that promote a wide range of potential career paths young people can take and clear direction on how to get there.
What is something unexpected about you that people might be surprised to learn?
I am neurodivergent! I was diagnosed with dyslexia, dyspraxia, and ADHD whilst at university – little did I know growing up that these traits are very common in creative people!
