When I was a kid I wanted to become…
A first-class, long-distance cabin crew member. It probably worked out for the best that I am not in this industry after all as it seems like a very demanding job. Saying that, it most likely would be a great way of travelling the world, almost for free! ????
For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:
Being yourself at work and working with like-minded people: knowledgeable, professional, honest, supportive and fun. Knowing that we are all here for the same reason and work towards the same goals.
My biggest feel-good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:
There are two: the weekend away a few years ago when we went to Wales and were kayaking on the river Wye. It was a lovely weekend, we had gorgeous weather, made cocktails and everyone had a great time.
More recently we did a Day of Fun locally in Bristol, it was genuinely a great laugh and gave us an opportunity to bond with new colleagues which these days can be a bit trickier when we’re all working from home and often not in the office at the same time as one another.
How I explain what I do at a party:
I find exciting and challenging opportunities for candidates and at the same time, talented and loyal employees for our clients.
Beyond recruitment at ADLIB, I care about:
My family and friends. I love going away and exploring new places as well as eating nice food from different corners of the world. Although I am not musically gifted myself, I love listening to the music as well as a range of podcasts and audiobooks – I am pretty much always listening to something on my headphones or a speaker.
