TTA’s Women In Cyber Academy partners with Immersive Labs

Applications are now open for the Women In Cyber Academy, commencing April 2020 in Central Bristol.

Our sister company TechTalent Academy’s ‘Women In Cyber Academy’ has now officially partnered with Immersive Labs. The team is set to bring new thinking to Cyber Security. Building careers with new cyber tech skills and transforming companies with diverse cyber talent.

The partnership has been set up with the intention to support diverse candidates into the sector.

We believe passionately in the power of diversity to improve organisations and individual lives. So we’re creating a new talent pipeline that help businesses build diverse tech teams – and individuals with diverse backgrounds build rewarding careers in Cyber Security”.

Women In Cyber Academy now invites applications for the April intake of their full time Academy and also their part time Academy which has an intake each month. The part time academy can be undertaken alongside a full time job. The Academy programme prepares talent for their first role within Cyber, it’s a unique offer for motivated women and non binary folks wanting to embark on a career in Cyber, to develop relevant tech skills as well as fast track their career.

It is also vital in combating the skills gap in the industry that we provide the framework for more groups to learn the skills and enter the industry. To do that, skills development programmes have to be designed to be accessible and inclusive, which is where our platform-based approach is so powerful. By being able to learn alongside their jobs in the part time academies this provides the flexibility to learn new skills, removing potential barriers to this market.” said James Hadley, CEO of Immersive Labs.

The course content is based on real-world skill requirements, considering skill-gaps, to ensure that students’ skills set them up for a long-term career in cyber, ready to go straight into employment.
